SAN DIEGO YOUTH SERVICES

East County Behavioral Health Clinic, (619) 448-9700-School linked services for youth with behavioral, emotional, or psychological problems in the following school districts: Grossmont Union High School District, (El Capitan, El Cajon Valley HS, and Chaparral HS), Lakeside Union School District, (Lakeside MS and Tierra del Sol MS) and Santee School District.

East County Teen Recovery Center, (619) 667-3333-Provides treatment to meet the individual needs of youth and their families who have a history of substance use or abuse or who are actively using substances.

CAT Team, (619) 258-6877-Serving youth who are at-risk for entering the Juvenile Justice System due to delinquency, oppositional behavior, and drug or alcohol use (if in conjunction with other problems impacting the community).

Cool Bed Program, (619) 258-6877-Two week program for teens needing to temporarily separate from their family to work on family issues.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR FAMILIES

Provides services primarily, but not solely, for those families at highest risk of child abuse and neglect. Resources and services build upon the strengths of the families to help them achieve safe, stable, self sufficient and nurturing homes. This facility offers services for CalWORKs, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal and General Relief.

Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.
